Adaptive Anti-aliasing: An Overview

Adaptive Anti-aliasing: An Overview

adaptiveaa.jpgI am very unsure of this one. I thought I had it all in my head, but when I start talking, I’m all over the place. Still, the lesson might be worth something to someone somewhere. It covers what adaptive anti-aliasing is and how to implement it in Sunflow via the Blender Sunflow exporter. Since this is more for Sunflow (my new favorite engine), you can find it on the Other Tutorials page.

P.S. I re-did the fake dof video since the time node got fixed (it clamps the values now). Plus, I thought the result video wasn’t great so I re-did that too.

I liked the tutorial a lot but thought that maybe for dramatics there should have been some examples walking us through the implementation of this using Blender and Sunflow.
